News from Head of School
I have exciting news to share about next year's facilities. For the past few years, School leadership has been focused on strategic advancement of Geneva School, including how best to configure our School into one unified campus that provides economies of scale, better communication with families, and most importantly, an ideal academic environment for our students. In answer to our prayers, God provided a way for us to have our own, unified school space for the coming year!
As of this Fall 2018, both Lower and Upper Schools will share one campus at 138 W 90 St, the former site of Saint Gregory the Great School. We are excited about this new space for a number of reasons, chief of which is the convening of all grades back under one roof for the first time since 1999. Also, since this structure was built to house a Catholic school, it provides good bones for our School without extensive renovation required. Furthermore, having our own space will give us access to full use of the facilities at any time, allowing us to expand after-school and community outreach programs. To add to this, there are two playground spaces directly adjacent to the building.
Thank you for your faithful prayers for Geneva School! We are grateful to God for his provision and for this new opportunity to further our mission of inspiring students to love learning, pursue excellence, and become leaders in scholarship, virtue, and faith.
With much praise and thanksgiving,
