The Gallup Scholar Award

The Geneva School of Manhattan, together with Mr. George Gallup, Jr., is pleased to announce the George and Kingsley Gallup Scholar Award. Named in memory of the late Kingsley (Kinney) Gallup, this award represents her passion for God, children, and education.

Geneva School offers this merit-based, three-year, full-tuition scholarship to one Sixth Grade student. The Gallup Scholar Award is granted to a new incoming Sixth Grade student who best demonstrates the strengths of Geneva School:

  • Academic excellence, as evidenced by outstanding academic record from current school and standardized test scores of 90% or greater in mathematics and reading.
  • Community leadership, based on completion of the Strengths Explorers Assessment and a one-page essay outlining his or her community involvement.
  • Christian faith, as outlined in a letter of recommendation from current pastor or community leader.

To apply for the Gallup Scholar Award:

  • Complete the School requirements.
  • Complete the Strengths Explorers Assessment.
  • Using the results of the Strengths Explorers assessment, choose one of the strength areas and write a one-page essay by hand centering on the demonstration of this characteristic in your life.
  • Use our recommendation form to obtain a recommendation from your pastor, church member, or community mentor.
  • Send application forms to admissions@genevaschool.net or mail or fax to the School office by December 1, 2009.

Trinity Scholarship

Trinity Baptist Church offers its member families the opportunity to apply for scholarship to Geneva School. Two full scholarships are awarded each year on a needs basis to an accepted Geneva School student with the following qualifications:

  • Family is a member of Trinity Baptist Church
  • Family is active in the community of Trinity Baptist Church
