Science

Purposeful Design. Lab-based, hands-on, experiential learning covering the subjects of force, motion, matter, earth and its ecosystems.

History and Geography

Interdisciplinary study of ancient Greece and Rome.

French

Application of basic vocabulary to conversation, reading, and writing. 

Bible

Comprehensive study in the Gospel of Luke.

Music

Emphasis is on mastery of ear training, sight reading and singing, advanced rhythmic patterns, and study of specific composers and genres. 

Visual Arts

Introduction to shading and continued emphasis on perspective work, scale and depth, and use of complementary colors.

Physical Education

Continued development of locomotor and non-locomotor skills, as well as learning rules and skills of key sports. Continued emphasis on sportsmanship.
