Upper School
As a New York independent school accredited by Middle States Association, Geneva School begins the application process one year in advance of the desired entry date. While we strongly encourage families to begin the application process early in the fall, we strive to accommodate families after this time, accepting late applications if space is available.
August–November
This is the best way to learn about our School. We look forward to connecting with you in this initial step.
Beginning September 1
We recommend applying early to maximize your chance for enrollment given our small class sizes and limited availability. The online application for the 2025-2026 school year is available beginning September 1.
September–December
Complete your family interview and student assessment. You will be contacted to schedule the interview and assessment upon receipt of your completed application. You will also be invited to attend our weekly student-led Assembly and tour the School. Submit supplemental documents (listed in the application) to Admissions no later than January 10.
December 15
Although we accept applications throughout the year where space is available, the December 15 deadline provides applicants with the best possible chance of admission and financial aid considerations.
February
Applicants will be notified by early to mid February. Offers of admission must be accepted within 7 days of receipt.
